One-Day Intensive for Loggers, Harvesters, Foresters & Landowners
This intensive 8-hour one-day workshop is purpose-built for loggers, timber harvesters, foresters, and landowners actively working timber property or managing their own tree farms. Designed specifically for remote settings where emergency assistance may be hours away, the course teaches practical first aid and CPR/AED skills tailored to the realities of forest operations. Participants will learn rapid assessment and treatment of common timber-related injuries—including chainsaw wounds, crush injuries, and environmental exposure—cardiopulmonary resuscitation and automated external defibrillator use, control of severe bleeding and shock, and decision-making when professional medical help is not immediately available. This hands-on training emphasizes real-world scenarios and prepares participants to stabilize and care for injured workers when they are the first responder in a remote forest setting. Upon completion, participants earn nationally recognized CPR/AED and wilderness first aid certification valid for three years, providing both personal confidence and workplace safety compliance for anyone working in timber operations.
